DR. BENJAMIN MOW MING FOOK

A Singapore native and resident, Dr. Benjamin Mow has devoted his medical career to the study of hematology and oncology. He is a Consultant Oncologist-Hematologist at The MOW Blood & Cancer Clinic and a Visiting Consultant in the Department of Hematology-Oncology at the National University Hospital, Singapore.

Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Ben Mow earned his Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 1990.He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic followed by a fellowship there in Hematology-Oncology.

Dr. Mow has participated in national and international cancer research projects on subjects such as gene expression profiles in breast cancer; molecular epidemiology of breast cancer in Singapore; molecular epidemiology of lymphoma in Singapore; preclinical drug development; and thrombosis and cancer.

Dr. Ben Mow is a frequent invited speaker on subjects related to hematology and oncology and has contributed extensively to the international peer-reviewed published literature on related subjects over the last 15 years. In the first six months of 2007, he chaired the Lymphoma Session in the First Singapore Medical Oncology Review Course and was an invited participant in the Fifth International Workshop on Nuclear Oncology, Budapest.

Dr. Benjamin Mow has received numerous awards from the National University Hospital, Singapore, and other institutions and organizations for his teaching and research and in 2005 was honored with the National Healthcare Humanity Award.
